The softcover is an adhesive bonding of printout sheets and the cover, the result looks like a book from a printing company or a glossy magazine. The production of a softcover involves several steps:- Indoor unit printing - internal pages of a book, magazine, catalog
- If necessary (there are many sheets, the sheets have a high density), we fasten the inner block with brackets. This increases the wear resistance of the binding.
- Printing a book cover
- If necessary, the cover is laminated - covered with a special thin transparent film 30 microns thick for additional protection of the book and giving it a more presentable appearance. It should be noted that lamination of the cover with a printout with dense fillings is not performed for technological reasons.
- Creasing of the cover is the pressing of grooves on the paper so that when using the book it opens comfortably and smoothly.
- Gluing the pages of the indoor unit and the cover in a hot-glue machine
- Glue drying (crystallization): the glue dries completely within 24 hours
- Finishing trimming of the book: cutting from three sides of the book, as a result, we get an elegant product that is pleasant to pick up and convenient to use
